Malkangiri, March, 13:A one-day technical training workshop was successfully conducted in Malkangiri district with the objective of bringing transparency and efficiency to the functioning of cooperative societies. The program was jointly organized by the Odisha State Cooperative Union and the Cooperative Management Centre, Koraput, at the conference hall of the local Regulated Market Committee.
Managing Directors, Branch Managers, and Data Entry Operators (DEOs) of various LAMPS functioning under the DRCS and KCC Bank participated in the workshop.
The camp was formally inaugurated by Shri Thuofil Shabar (DRCS) and Shri D. Venkata Rao (ARCS). Among the distinguished guests were RMC Secretary Shri Sanjay Kumar Das, Chairman Shri Sanjay Kumar Patra, and Professor Shri Niranjan Mohapatra.
During the program, experts held detailed discussions on how LAMPS cooperative societies can function efficiently through computerization and the use of Common Service Centres (CSCs). IT experts Shri Akshaya Kumar Panda, Shri Rudra Narayan Mishra, Shri Sanjeev Saraf, and Shri Ashish Mandal from Bhubaneswar, Koraput, and Jeypore provided training to the staff on modern technical skills and digital management.
The guests expressed that this training would serve as a milestone in strengthening cooperative societies and delivering improved services to farmers.
