Malkangiri:Feb, 5: The State Transport Minister, Shri Bibhuti Bhushan Jena, visited the Nilachal Adivasi Sevashram at Tekguda under Korukonda block of Malkangiri district this evening. His visit brought joy and enthusiasm among the resident students and staff of the Sevashram.
During the visit, Minister Jena held a cordial interaction with the resident students and inquired in detail about their education, accommodation, food arrangements, healthcare, and other basic facilities. The students directly informed the Minister about their problems and needs.
On this occasion, Sevashram Secretary Shri Nilamani Pradhan, Director Shri Ranjit, and Co-Director Swami Madhabananda Saraswati were present and briefed the Minister about the institution’s activities, achievements, and ongoing challenges. They also placed demands regarding infrastructure development, educational materials, transportation facilities, and other essential requirements.
The Minister toured the Sevashram premises and inspected the classrooms, hostel, kitchen, dining hall, and other facilities. He assured that coordination would be made with the concerned departments for the early and permanent resolution of the issues faced by the Sevashram.
Local residents expressed that the Minister’s visit has strengthened hope and confidence for the overall development of the Adivasi Sevashram and the welfare of its inmates.
