Nabarangpur, Feb, 5:: The 77th Republic Day was celebrated by the Nabarangpur District Citizens’ Committee at the premises of Hotel Trupti in Nabarangpur.
Committee President Shri Jagannath Mahapatra hoisted the National Flag and, under the Tricolour, called upon everyone to work together to lead the nation on the path of peace, harmony, and progress, and to build a prosperous democratic country.
Secretary Ram Prasad Patra informed the gathering about the various initiatives undertaken by the committee from time to time for the development of the district. The event was conducted by Tapan Kumar Bisoyi.
Among the distinguished guests who addressed the gathering were Jagadish Chandra Tripathy, Narayan Panda, Bijay Choudhury, Dr. Bijay Kumar Mishra, Niranjan Mishra, Ganesh Das, Satyabadi Sadangi, advocate Rabindra Prasad Padhi, Prabhasini Mohanty, Jharana Pattnaik, advocate Prafulla Singh, and Umakanta Behera.
Assistant Convener Pradeep Kumar Sahu, Joint Secretary Kishore Pattnaik, Treasurer Srinivas Patra, and members Barun Nayak, Subrata Behera, Jagannath Bage, Sarat Das, Govinda Hadap, and others were present on the occasion.
