Nabarangpur Hosts 3-Day Residential Training Under Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan

Nabarangpur, 6th Sept 2025: Under the flagship initiative Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, a three-day residential district-level orientation and capacity-building workshop is being organized from 4th to 6th September 2025 in Nabarangpur. This initiative aims to strengthen the delivery of services to the remotest tribal areas and to establish a responsive and accountable governance system.

The workshop was inaugurated with the participation of prominent dignitaries including:

  • Motiram Nayak, President, Zilla Parishad
  • Dr. Maheswar Swain, District Collector
  • Biranchi Narayan Darobana, Chief Development Officer-cum-Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad
  • Rajiv Lochan Sahu, Project Administrator, Department of Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development

A total of 58 Adi Karmayogis (IKK) from 10 blocks of the district participated in the workshop. They received training from district-level and block-level master trainers across various departments.

The primary objective of this programme is to:

Ensure accountable governance at the grassroots level

Enable inclusive, sustainable, and long-term development in tribal areas

This initiative is a path-breaking step toward realizing the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas” and plays a crucial role in the mission of building a Developed India by 2047.

Through this programme, it is aimed to deliver all essential government services to nearly:

2 lakh tribal families

7 lakh tribal citizens
living across 536 tribal-dominated villages in the district.

The workshop signifies a committed step toward reaching the last mile in governance and service delivery in tribal regions.
