New Beginning for ‘Super 100’ Students as Orientation Programme Sets the Stage for Future Achievements

Nabarangpur,Sept 4 [UDN}:: A one-day orientation programme for Class 10 students was organised at Dabugam Government (New) Panchayat High School in Nabarangpur district under the ‘Super 100’ initiative, aimed at improving the quality of education and helping students achieve better results in the Class 10 annual examinations.

The programme was held under the chairmanship of District Education Officer (DEO) Chhatrapati Sahu. On his arrival at the school, teachers and staff welcomed him with sandalwood tilak and bouquets and escorted him to the stage.

The programme began with floral tributes to Lord Ganesha, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The DEO was felicitated with an uttariya and bouquets by teachers and students. The students also presented a collective welcome song.

A total of 40 students who had qualified in a selection examination conducted earlier in the district participated in the programme, along with the headmasters and resource teachers from their respective schools.

Addressing the students, the District Education Officer explained in detail how they should prepare for their examinations with confidence and clear all their doubts before the examination. He also advised the resource persons to identify and address the subject-wise weaknesses and shortcomings of the students.

With the assistance of resource teacher Badri Narayan Biswal, the students and resource teachers were given an opportunity to introduce themselves.

Dabugam Block Education Officer Rashmita Netam attended the programme as a distinguished guest and advised the students to stay away from mobile phones and social media until the examinations and focus completely on their studies and preparation.

District Science Inspector Chitta Ranjan Pattnaik briefed the participants about the structure and objectives of the programme. Assistant Block Education Officers Bhagaban Majhi and Santosh Kumar Sahu, along with District Physical Education Officer Prabhat Pattnaik, also attended as distinguished guests.

Headmaster Krushna Chandra Patra proposed the vote of thanks. All the teachers and staff members of the school extended their cooperation in making the programme successful.

Such an initiative is widely regarded as a significant educational effort and a reflection of the vision of the District Education Officer. Nabarangpur district, which has traditionally lagged behind in the field of education, is witnessing efforts to improve educational standards under his leadership.

It is expected that these initiatives will contribute significantly to the district’s academic progress and bring recognition to Nabarangpur in the field of education.
