Bhubaneswar, Aug 22 [UDN}:Mamatarani Tripathy had been holding the additional charge of Bargarh CDAO following the retirement of the previous officer. Subsequently, the state government appointed her as the regular CDAO of Bargarh.
Known as the “Rice Bowl” of Odisha, agriculture plays a crucial role in Bargarh district’s economy. Farmers in the district make a significant contribution to the production of paddy and various other crops. Therefore, the responsibility of heading the district agriculture department carries considerable importance.
Farmers are expecting the new CDAO to take greater initiatives towards resolving their problems, ensuring the effective implementation of various agricultural schemes, and delivering essential services to them. In particular, they hope that departmental support in addressing farming-related issues will be further strengthened.
Now that Mamatarani Tripathy has assumed the post on a regular basis, attention will be focused on how she takes forward the administrative work in the district’s agriculture sector and what measures she undertakes to address the various concerns of farmers.
