New Sai Sanjeevani Hospital Opened by MLA for Public Benefit

Nabarangpur, Feb 21: A newly built private healthcare facility, Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, located along the bypass road of Nabarangpur town, was inaugurated on Sunday by local MLA Gouri Shankar Majhi.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the MLA said the hospital would serve as a lifesaving institution for the residents of Nabarangpur and nearby areas. He noted that the hospital is equipped with advanced medical instruments and will have doctors trained abroad providing treatment, which he described as a matter of good fortune for the region.

He further stated that establishing an affordable hospital for public healthcare was the dream of late teacher Raj Kishore Barad, and that dream has now been fulfilled by his grandson, Dr. Chippai Samantsinghar. The MLA added that Ayushman health cards are expected to be included in the hospital’s services in the coming days so that poor patients of the area can receive treatment conveniently.

According to the doctors, the hospital offers 11 indoor beds along with OPD services, pathology and laboratory facilities, ultrasonography, cataract surgery, orthopedic care, gynecology, and general surgery. Facilities such as ECG, Echo, TMT, special cabins, a pharmacy, waiting hall, and doctor consultation cabins are also available.
Among others present at the event were social worker and Lions Club member Jagannath Mahapatra, former Panchayat Samiti Chairperson P. Nagaratnam, Zilla Parishad member Krishna Manjari Bisoyi, Dr. Shanti Swaroop Pattnaik, social worker Jhadeshwari Khadanga, Sushil Jain, Pratap Samantsinghar, and family members.
