27th November 2024: Odisha recently hosted the Mahak-Utsah 2024 Children’s Festival at Kalinga Stadium, a celebration of young talent and a commitment to shaping a brighter future for the state’s children. Organized by the Odisha State Child Protection Committee and the Department of Women and Child Development, the event saw children with exceptional skills being honored and encouraged to pursue their dreams.

Through more than 2,200 registered child care institutions, the state is ensuring that every child receives the care, protection, and rights they deserve.

Prominent figures, including Law Minister Shri Pruthviraj Harichandan, Sports Minister Shri Suryabanshi Suraj, and Women and Child Development Secretary Smt. Shubha Sharma, were present at the event, reinforcing the importance of child protection and development in the state.
