10th February 2025: In a significant step to empower women in Odisha, Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi today distributed financial support to 18 lakh new beneficiaries under the Subhadra Yojana. Each beneficiary received ₹5,000, which has been directly credited to their bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
ମାନ୍ୟବର ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ମୋହନ ଚରଣ ମାଝି ଆଜି ସୁଭଦ୍ରା ଯୋଜନାରେ ୧୮ ଲକ୍ଷ ନୂତନ ହିତାଧିକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ୫ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା ଲେଖାଏଁ ଆର୍ଥିକ ସହାୟତା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ସହାୟତା ରାଶି ହିତାଧିକାରୀଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟାଙ୍କ ଆକାଉଣ୍ଟକୁ ଡିବିଟି ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ହସ୍ତାନ୍ତର କରାଯାଇଛି।

This distribution is part of the broader initiative that has already reached 80 lakh women in earlier phases. With today’s inclusion, a total of 98 lakh women are now benefiting from the scheme.

During the event held in Jagatsinghpur, the Chief Minister highlighted that the Subhadra Yojana provides ₹10,000 annually to each beneficiary, split into two installments. Over five years, this adds up to a total of ₹50,000 for every woman under the scheme.
This initiative is part of the government’s broader vision to uplift and support women, contributing to the development and welfare of the state. The Subhadra Yojana continues to be a vital tool in ensuring that women across Odisha receive the financial assistance they need to improve their lives.
