Bhubaneswar, March 3: Several parts of Odisha experienced scorching heat on Sunday, with temperatures crossing 38°C in Bolangir. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Bolangir recorded a high of 38.1°C. Other places, including Angul (37.9°C), Titilagarh (37.6°C), Jharsuguda and Bhadrak (37.5°C), and Jajpur (37.2°C), saw temperatures above 37°C. Bhawanipatna, Sonepur, and Baripada reported temperatures around 37°C, while Bhubaneswar recorded 36.1°C.

The IMD has stated that temperatures are expected to remain stable over the next few days. The seasonal forecast indicates that maximum temperatures will stay above normal throughout March, April, and May.
