Bhubaneswar, July 7 {UDN}: In a major step toward strengthening social security, the Odisha Government has announced that an additional 6 lakh eligible beneficiaries will be covered under the Madhubabu Pension Scheme (MBPS).
The expansion aims to provide financial assistance to more elderly persons, widows, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable sections of society. This initiative is expected to enhance social welfare and ensure greater financial security for deserving beneficiaries across the state.
The government’s decision reflects its continued commitment to inclusive development and improving the quality of life for economically weaker and socially disadvantaged citizens.
