13th February 2025: On the 17th Foundation Day of IIT-Bhubaneswar, Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati emphasized the importance of creating knowledge that can transform the world and preparing students to become leaders. He commended the institute’s growth since 2008 and its strong focus on innovation, research, and industry collaboration.
In his speech, the Governor encouraged students to embrace bold ideas and contribute to India’s goals of progress and unity. He also visited key research facilities at IIT-Bhubaneswar, including the Research and Entrepreneurship Park and Renewable Energy Systems, to explore the institute’s advancements in technology and sustainability.
