Bhubaneswar, March 6: Odisha has recorded its first 39°C temperature of the year, marking the arrival of intense heat. This is the first instance of such high temperatures in the state in 2025.
The heatwave has led to discomfort in various parts of the state, with residents adjusting to the sudden spike in temperature. Experts have cautioned that the heat may persist in the coming days, raising concerns about heatstroke and dehydration.
Authorities have urged the public to stay hydrated, avoid direct sun exposure during peak hours, and wear light clothing as the summer season sets in, bringing more hot days ahead.
