Bhubaneswar, Dec, 11: To safeguard the interests of farmers, officials of the Odisha Rice Millers Association held discussions on various matters with Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Minister Shri Krushna Chandra Patra.
The government has taken extensive measures for paddy procurement in the state during the current Kharif season. Along with procuring paddy from registered farmers, the government has also taken the necessary steps to ensure they receive their due payments.
Additionally, the millers have assured that they will continue to cooperate and participate in the paddy procurement process.
