Bhubaneswar, March 6: Starting March 30, Bhubaneswar will be connected by air to Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) and Port Blair (Andaman and Nicobar Islands). This new service, announced by the Chief Minister’s Office, is part of Odisha’s effort to enhance regional connectivity.

Daily flights will operate from Biju Patnaik International Airport to Ghaziabad’s Hindon Airport and Port Blair’s Veer Savarkar International Airport. The service, provided by Air India Express, is expected to boost tourism, commerce, and overall economic development in the state. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for supporting the initiative.
