Nabarangpur Feb, 6:: On the occasion of her visit to the Nabarangpur District Court, Deputy Director of the Law Department, Dr. Shailaja Pattnaik, organized a one-day workshop for newly appointed government advocates.
The workshop was presided over by Public Prosecutor Manoj Kumar Sahu. Dr. Shailaja Pattnaik attended as the Chief Guest, while Assistant Director Rupesh Pradhani was present as the Guest of Honour.
The session focused on how government advocates should effectively discharge their duties. Detailed discussions were held on how, under the provisions of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, accused persons can be prosecuted and punished in accordance with the law. It was also decided that such workshops would be organized once every three months. Additionally, a decision was taken to hold joint meetings involving the police administration and the Law Department.
Among others present were government advocates Sunanda Pradhan, Mrutyunjaya Maharana, Saroj Kumar Behera, Tapan Kumar Singh, Simanchal Padhi, Ramachandra Nayak, Srikanta Kumar Panda, Bidhu Sekhar Tripathy, Kishori Pattnaik, Sanjeeb Kumar Bhakta, Shatabdi Pal, Swagatika Samantaray, Srinibas Patra, Sairam Samantaray, and Additional Public Prosecutor Prashanta Pattnaik.
