Papadahandi Marks National Panchayati Raj Day at Block Level Through Awareness Programmes and Community Participation

Papadahandi, April 29: The National Panchayati Raj Day was observed at the Papadahandi Block office premises ..The program was conducted under the chairmanship of Panchayat Samiti Vice-Chairman Sushant Kumar Behera. During the event, a total of 280 beneficiaries were issued work orders for houses under the Antyodaya housing scheme, while two beneficiaries were provided financial assistance of ₹90,000 each as incentives.
Local MLA Manohar Randhari attended the event as the chief guest. Other dignitaries present included District Planning Committee Vice-Chairman Lingaraj Bhatra, former MP Parshuram Majhi, MP’s representative Somanath Pujari, Zilla Parishad member Dr. Lipika Majhi, member Yashobant Nayak, and Tehsildar Tapan Kumar Nayak.
The live telecast of the state-level inauguration program, addressed by the Chief Minister from Balangir, was also showcased during the event.
Among others present were CDPO Swarnaprabha Das, BPM Sudhanshu Biswal, Akshaya Pattnaik, Harimohan Sharma, Damodar Pradhan, Dinabandhu Bishoi, Hari Panigrahi, and several other officials. The program was coordinated by BPC Shashikanta Das.
