Parliament Question on Koraput–Bhubaneswar Vande Bharat Service Timeline

New Delhi, Feb, 19: Koraput Member of Parliament Saptagiri Ulaka has raised a question about when the Vande Bharat Express train service between Koraput and Bhubaneswar will begin operations.

During the “Parab Parba” program, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi had announced the proposed introduction of the Vande Bharat Express on this route. Ulaka asked when the proposed train will actually start running.

After Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw informed that the state has been allocated Rs 10,928 crore in railway funding in the 2026–27 budget, the Koraput Congress MP said that details of expenditure allocation will be known from the separate railway budget or the Pink Book.

He also demanded detailed information regarding the Rayagada railway division and the Therubali–Gopalpur rail line through a post on social media.
