Nabarangpur, 13th Nov 2025: The first meeting of the 2025 Souvenir and Poetry Reading Festival Committee of Nabarangpur Mandai was held on Monday in the District Council Hall under the chairmanship of District Development Officer Biranchi Narayan Darwan. Out of 19 committee members, 14 were present.
Vice-Chairperson Muna Tripathy provided the initial briefing. It was decided that for this year’s 2025 Souvenir, all writings and poems for the poetry reading festival must be submitted by 25th November to the office of the District Development Officer and the District Cultural Officer.
The poetry collection “Nava Nirjhara 2” will be published, and proposals were also received for including several informative writings in the souvenir.
Notable participants in the meeting included: Jenamani Bishoyi, Jagadish Tripathy, Bijay Chaudhuri, Narayan Panda, Prabhasini Mahanti, Sanjukta Panda, Swarnalata Pattnayak, Sangeeta Tripathy, Hemlata Majhi, Ashutosh Patra, Ramprasad Patra, and Purna Chandra Mahapatra.
