PM Modi also visited the Anji Khad Bridge—India’s first cable-stayed railway bridge—and later addressed a public meeting in Katra. These landmark projects are set to greatly improve connectivity, boost tourism, and accelerate development in the region.
Describing the inauguration as a “journey to remember,” the Prime Minister highlighted how these developments would bring the people of Jammu & Kashmir closer to the rest of the country—both physically and economically.
