Bhubaneswar, Aug 10 [UDN}:A special half-day training programme on cybercrime and banking fraud investigation was successfully conducted on August 7, 2026, at the conference hall of the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Police Commissionerate Headquarters. The programme aimed to strengthen the capacity of police officers to investigate cyber and financial crimes more efficiently and effectively.
The training was formally inaugurated by Dr. S. Dev Datta Singh, IPS, Commissioner of Police, in the presence of Shri Narasingha Bhol, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police.
Shri Kishore Mandal, Regional Head of YES Bank, delivered the opening session on banking security and the fundamentals of financial fraud prevention. Cyber investigation experts from YES Bank, Shri Jatin Arora and Shri Saikat Sengupta, conducted detailed technical sessions on the latest cybercrime trends, fraud techniques (modus operandi), and advanced investigation methods.
