Prayagraj, Feb 28: The Mahakumbh Mela, the world’s largest spiritual gathering, has officially concluded at the banks of the Ganga River. The event, which brought together a massive congregation of saints, devotees, and pilgrims, culminated with the sacred Amrit Snan, marking the end of the festivities.
On the final day, over a million devotees gathered at the Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers, to take part in the rituals. The Mahashivaratri celebrations saw an unprecedented turnout, with nearly 2 crore devotees participating in the holy dip on the last day. Throughout the 45-day event, more than 66 crore people attended the Mahakumbh, making it one of the most significant spiritual events in history.
