President Extends Greetings to Citizens on India’s 80th Independence Day, Emphasises the Power and Potential of the Youth and Calls for Collective Efforts to Build a Strong, Inclusive, Developed and Self-Reliant Nation

Delhi, Aug 17 [UDN}:  President Droupadi Murmu conveyed her warm greetings and best wishes to the people of India on the occasion of the country’s 80th Independence Day. In her message, she highlighted the vital role of the younger generation in shaping the nation’s future, describing the youth as the builders and architects of tomorrow’s India.
The President emphasized that India’s young population carries enormous potential, energy, creativity and determination. Their ideas, skills, innovation and commitment can play a decisive role in taking the country towards greater development, prosperity and self-reliance.
She also called upon citizens to remember the sacrifices of the freedom fighters who devoted their lives to India’s independence and to work collectively towards strengthening the values of democracy, unity, equality and national integrity.
On this significant occasion, the President extended her heartfelt greetings to all citizens and expressed confidence that the people, particularly the youth, would continue to contribute towards building a stronger, more developed, inclusive and prosperous India.
