Delhi,July 7 {UDN}:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accompanied by the President of Seychelles, visited the famous Giant Tortoise Enclosure during his official engagement in the island nation.
The giant tortoises of Seychelles are among the world’s longest-living animal species, with some capable of surviving for well over a century. These remarkable reptiles are renowned for their enormous size, slow movement, and exceptional longevity, making them an important symbol of Seychelles’ unique natural heritage.
The visit highlighted the importance of wildlife conservation and the preservation of biodiversity while strengthening the friendly ties between India and Seychelles.
