A total of 80 grievance petitions were received at the camp. Out of these, 50 were related to collective or village-level issues, while 28 were individual grievances. Several issues were resolved immediately, and the District Collector issued strict instructions to concerned departmental officers to dispose of the remaining applications within a specified time frame.
Financial assistance was provided to two seriously affected beneficiaries from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
The major issues raised during the camp included pension benefits, old-age allowance, drinking water scarcity, land disputes, ration card-related problems, and road and transport facilities.
Such initiatives by the district administration are proving beneficial for villagers residing in remote areas and are helping in the effective implementation of government schemes.
