According to the announcement, the fifth installment of the Subhadra Yojana will be credited directly to the bank accounts of more than one crore women beneficiaries across the state.
The disbursement is expected to provide significant financial support to women enrolled under the flagship welfare scheme. The Subhadra Yojana is one of the major women-centric welfare initiatives of the Odisha government, aimed at strengthening the financial security and economic independence of women. Under the scheme, eligible women receive financial assistance in installments over the prescribed period.

Beneficiaries have been advised to ensure that their bank accounts remain active and properly linked with the required identification details so that there is no difficulty in receiving the amount. Women who are eligible under the scheme but do not receive the installment may need to verify their beneficiary status and other required details through the designated government channels.
The large-scale disbursement of the fifth installment reflects the state government’s continued emphasis on women’s welfare and financial empowerment. With more than one crore women expected to receive the assistance, the August 28 transfer is likely to be one of the significant installment disbursements under the Subhadra Yojana.
