Kotpad, March, 3: Ramadan is the holy month of the Muslim community. During this month, children above 7 years of age, as well as young boys and girls, observe Roza (fasting). There is no obligation for children below 7 years to keep fast during Ramadan.
However, a 4-year-old girl has set an example for the Muslim community by observing Roza. The child is Ume Hani, daughter of Gulfam Qureshi and Firdous Bano of Kotpad town. On Monday, Ume Hani observed the fast, and she was congratulated by her relatives including Meherun Bai, Hanif Hingora, Mumtaz Bano, Anjum, Sifa, Saba Bano, Mohammad and others.
The innocent child’s devotion and dedication towards God deeply impressed everyone.
