Rasulpur, 15th Sept 2025: The 51st Foundation Day of Upendranath Mahavidyalaya, located at Khairabad Mugupal under Rasulpur Block, was celebrated under the chairmanship of Sharada Kar.
The event was inaugurated by the founding chairman of the college, Benudhar Saran, who graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The keynote speaker, Shibacharan Majhi, former principal of Byasanagar College, and Bharat Behera, a distinguished alumnus, participated as honored guests, and fondly recalled the contributions of dedicated educationists and freedom fighters who played vital roles in the establishment of the college.
Tributes were paid to the late founder of the institution with floral respects and words of remembrance.
The program began with introductory remarks by Professor Siddhartha Shankar Rath, while Professor Suresh Dash introduced the guests. The event proceedings were conducted by Professor Krushna Chandra Padhi and Professor Kadhibala Panda.
The college staff actively supported the organization of the celebration.
Discussions were also held regarding the grand celebration of the Golden Jubilee (50 years) of the college this year, with emphasis on making it a memorable event.
