Nayagarh, Sept 9 [UDN}:The second annual function of Sai Shiksha Niketan, Nayagarh, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy. The programme was organised under the chairmanship of the institution’s founder, Mithun Kumar Sahu.
Nayagarh MLA Dr Arun Kumar Sahu attended the event as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, Dr Sahu said that in today’s highly competitive environment, the active involvement of parents is extremely important for the progress and success of students. He emphasised that educational institutions should not focus solely on academics but must also give equal importance to co-curricular activities for the overall development of students.
Social worker Mrs Irani Ray attended the programme as the Guest of Honour. She advised students to show respect and gratitude towards their parents and teachers. Addressing the students, she said, “Respect and honour your parents as well as your teachers, and you will see that your future will certainly be bright.”
The institution’s adviser, Mr Shashank Shekhar Swain, was also present as a distinguished guest.
On the occasion, the students of the institution presented a series of captivating cultural programmes, which received appreciation from the audience. A spectacular magic show by magician J. K. Krishna also became one of the major attractions of the event, entertaining and fascinating the students, teachers, parents and guests present at the programme.
Sai Shiksha Niketan, which began its journey in 2024 with just 14 students, has witnessed remarkable growth in a short period. Today, as many as 310 students are pursuing their education at the institution. The guests and parents expressed happiness and appreciation over the remarkable progress and rapid growth of the educational institution.
During the programme, students who had achieved success in various competitions were felicitated and awarded for their outstanding performances. All the teachers of the institution were also honoured for their contribution and dedication towards the development of the students.
The office-bearers and members of the institution extended their wholehearted cooperation in making the annual celebration a grand success. J. K. Krishna conducted and coordinated the stage proceedings.
