Sambalpur, Nov 25: A glass-view tiger enclosure, Odisha’s first, is going to be built in Sambalpur. Many tourists will be attracted to see rare wildlife such as tigers, crocodiles, and gharials.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has laid the foundation stone for the tiger enclosure at Sambalpur Zoo. He said that this initiative will help in the conservation of wildlife in Sambalpur as well as in the development of the tourism industry.
Four mighty tigers will be brought to Sambalpur Zoo, and in the first phase, an amount of 5 crore rupees will be spent.
