6th December 2024: Seven-year-old Sanjisha Panda from Ramakrishnapur village in Abajhuna panchayat, Balasore district, has made her home state and country proud by winning the title of ‘Little Miss Northern Alberta Canada 2025’. Sanjisha, the daughter of bankers Isha and Sanjib Panda, who currently reside in Edmonton, Canada, has earned this prestigious title, marking a significant achievement for both Odisha and India on the international stage.
Her victory highlights not only her exceptional talents but also the strong cultural bond her family maintains with Odisha while living abroad. Sanjisha’s success is a moment of pride for her family and a testament to the potential of young Indian talents excelling across the globe.
