Saraswati Shishu Gyan Mandir, Nabarangpur Marks Janmashtami With Colourful Krishna Dress Contest

Nabarangpur, 20th Aug 2025: On Friday, a Krishna Costume Competition was organized at Saraswati Shishu Gyan Mandir, located near the old LIC office in Nabarangpur. Children from seven schools participated in the programme.

The chief guests were Raj Purohit and Advocate Shri Narasingha Tripathy. The judges for the competition were Parsuram Sahu, Meenakshi Padhi, and Prabhati Patra.

Prizes were awarded to nine children in total—three each from Group A, Group B, and Group C—who secured first, second, and third positions in their respective groups. In all, 23 participants from various schools took part in the event.

Parents of the participating children also attended and encouraged them. Teachers and volunteers including Braj Kishore Guruji, Manmohan Guruji, Jyoti, Chanchala, Sunita, Geeta, Minakshi, Anu, Kabita, Barsha, Ipsita, Sudipta, Sumita, Shubhashree, and Rajeshwari Guruma extended their support to make the event successful.

The programme concluded with Guruji Ravi extending heartfelt thanks to all the parents, well-wishers, and the children who participated.
