Chandahandi, Jan, 21: The State Government has declared 800 schools as PM SHRI Schools. Among them, the Government High School at Pujariguda in Chandahandi Block of Nabarangpur district has been selected.
In accordance with the National Education Policy 2020 and as per the directions of the State Government, the PM SHRI Festival was celebrated at the first PM SHRI Government High School in Chandahandi under the supervision of Headmaster Babudhar Sahu.
On this occasion, senior advocate Nil Saroj Agasti, representative of Nabarangpur MP Balabhadra Majhi, attended as a guest, and Govind Jain, representative of Jharigaon MLA Narsingh Bhatra, joined as the chief speaker. Both speakers highlighted how students will benefit from PM SHRI schools.
During the programme, Chandahandi Mandal President Bhodev Bag, Mohara Sarpanch Jalandhar Majhi, Panabeda Bada College Principal Nalini Das, Government Advocate Hiradhar Mali, and Block Vice-Chairman Basudev Gouda, among others, were present.
Teacher Santosh Khamari conducted the stage proceedings.
