Kolnara, July 28 UDN}:: Hundreds of men and women gathered in Kolnara to participate in the sacred Bahuda Yatra celebration and pulled the chariots together.
While the number of devotees was relatively low during the Srigundicha Yatra due to rain, a huge crowd was witnessed today as the weather remained dry and the sun came out in the afternoon. All rituals and religious ceremonies are being conducted here in accordance with the rituals and timings followed at the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri.
Accompanied by bhajan and kirtan groups, the deities returned from the Mausima Temple and ascended the chariots, following which devotees pulled the chariots towards the Shree Jagannath Temple.
After the deities reach the temple, all other rituals and ceremonies will be performed. Following the departure of the deities, the once lively Mausima Temple has now fallen silent.
