Baipariguda Jan, 24:: The district-level PM SHRI Quiz Competition under the Rashtriya Aavishkar Abhiyan was held at Pujariput Upper Primary School in Koraput.
Organized under the aegis of Samagra Shiksha, Koraput, the event saw participation from 38 students and 19 guide teachers representing 19 PM SHRI high schools from across the district in the first phase.
In both the junior and senior categories, three meritorious participants each were awarded and encouraged by District Education Officer Karunakar Bhue. Education Science Coordinator Chandrakala Bagarsi attended the programme and conducted the proceedings. The panel of judges included Harekrushna Maharana, Sudhir Das, Bhagaban Das, and Aditya Padhi.
In the junior category, Sonali Biswal of Koraput Government Girls’ High School secured the first position, while in the senior category, Manas Sarabu of Kotpad Government High School secured the first position.
It has been informed that both these winners will represent the district at the state-level competition.
Among others, Pradeep Kumar Patra, Subodh Majhi, Hara Mishra, Jyoti Padhi, Gamu Suchen, Priyaranjan Das, and Trilokesh Panda were present and extended their support in organizing the event.
