Rangamatia, July 24 UDN}: Sonalisa Mahanta, a talented young girl from Bankia village under Rangamatia Gram Panchayat of Champua Block, has brought pride and honour to her village and the entire region by successfully qualifying for the NEET Medical Entrance Examination 2026.
Sonalisa is the daughter of Pradeep Kumar Mahanta and Kabita Mahanta of Bankia village. Along with being a brilliant student, she is a multi-talented young woman who has demonstrated excellence in several fields. For her remarkable talent and achievements, she has received numerous awards and honours from schools, colleges and various organisations.
Sonalisa has earned recognition for her skills in dance and painting and is also a talented presenter and anchor. She has showcased her abilities in acting as well and is known for her excellent public speaking skills.
She is also popularly known in the region as a “wonder girl” because of her unusual talents, including riding a bicycle while blindfolded and identifying objects placed in front of her without touching them. She has also appeared several times on private television channels, where she had the opportunity to showcase her exceptional abilities.
In the NEET Medical Entrance Examination 2026, Sonalisa secured an All India Rank of 616. After completing her medical education, she has expressed her desire to serve the people of her home region, particularly Champua and Keonjhar district, by providing them with medical care and dedicated service.
Her success in NEET has brought immense happiness and pride to her family, village and the entire Champua-Keonjhar region. Her achievement is being widely appreciated, and she has emerged as an inspiration for young students who aspire to pursue a career in medicine and serve society.
