Bhubaneswar, March, 2:The government has released the latest paddy procurement data as of today.
So far, 5,992,864 metric tonnes of paddy have arrived at mandis.
Out of this, 5,973,552 metric tonnes have been procured.
5,806,432 metric tonnes of paddy have been lifted from the mandis.
194,846 metric tonnes of paddy are still lying in the mandis.
A total of 1,390,978 farmers have sold their paddy so far.
Rs4,045 crore has been credited to farmers’ accounts as input subsidy.
Rs13,110 crore has been paid towards MSP (Minimum Support Price).
