Bhubaneswar, 27th February: Despite dry conditions in recent days, temperatures across the state remain unusually high. On Wednesday, Boudh district recorded the highest temperature at 36.8°C, while Rourkela experienced the lowest at 15.3°C.
No significant changes in nighttime temperatures are expected over the next two days, but a rise of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius is anticipated. Fog will also cover several regions, with light to moderate fog in districts like Cuttack, Khordha, and Jagatsinghpur on Thursday morning. Dense fog is expected in parts of Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, and Ganjam on Friday. A yellow warning has been issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre for these areas.
