Students Shine at Government School Annual Day Program

BaiparigudaApril 07:  The annual function of the Government Primary School at Block Colony, Baipariguda, was celebrated with great enthusiasm.
The event was attended by Panchayat Samiti Chairman Prashant Kumar Gupta, BDO Subrata Kumar Sahu, Block Vice-Chairperson Purnima Barik, Samiti Member Manjulata Pattnaik, Naib Sarpanch Sushant Kumar Nayak, representative of the Koraput MLA Manoj Kumar Nayak, School Management Committee Vice-President Keshab Khul, and CRCC Manoj Arisala.
The convenor and Headmaster, Biren Kumar Dhal, presented the annual report. On this occasion, a cultural program was organized with the support of assistant teachers Sunati Dhal, Banani Sahu, Ritima Kahar, and former CRCC Kahnu Charan Behera.
Earlier, students who excelled in various competitions were awarded prizes by the guests.
Mousumi Khul was awarded as the Best Student, Kritika Barik for cleanliness, Shiva Paraja as the Best Volunteer, and Rajanipriya Gadaba for Best Attendance. Santosh Gadaba secured first position in the entrance examination for Eklavya Model Residential School, while Rukmani Majhi topped the entrance exam for Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya.
Shankar Talia and Shriya Nag were selected for primary advancement. In speech competition, winners included Kahu Gadaba, Rishita Dhal, and Samasan Raj Hanu. In essay writing, winners were Rishita Dhal, Gitanjali Sindhia, and Anuradha Nayak.
In music competition, winners included Daisy Harijan, Rishita Dhal, and Amrita Pattnaik. In running events, winners were Amrita Pattnaik, Sandhyarani Khul, and Rukmani Majhi. In math race, winners were Mahesh Majhi, Samasan Raj Hanu, and Shankar Talia.
In ball throwing, winners included Devi Badanayak, Mahendra Paraja, and Elina Harijan. In puchi (local game), winners were Rukmani Majhi, Puja Saura, and Jyoti Paraja. In frog race, winners included Praveen Badanayak, Labamali, and Tanvi Takri.
All the meritorious students were awarded prizes by the dignitaries.
