Papadahandi, Feb, 19:The 17th annual function of SSD Girls High School at Daleyiguda in Paparahandi was celebrated with great enthusiasm.
On this occasion, the students welcomed the invited guests at the school gate with bouquets. The program began with floral offerings to Lord Ganesh and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The Headmistress, Mrs. Prabhati Behera, honored the guests with bouquets and mementos, and the students presented a welcome song.
The Headmistress presented the annual report of the school, highlighting government grants received for students, various facilities provided, and academic achievements. She noted that the school achieved a 100% pass rate in the Class 10 board examinations last year. She also mentioned that for the past three years the school has been successfully conducting the district-level “Sargi Phul” program.
The chief guest of the function was Nabarangpur Zilla Parishad Chairman Motiram Nayak. Other distinguished guests included MP representative Somanath Pujari, MLA representative Rajanikant Sasmal, District Welfare Officer Rabindra Palaka,
Papadahandi Block Vice-Chairman Sushant Kumar Behera, Additional District Welfare Officer Bharat Kumar Sahu, Nibedita Biswal, Welfare Extension Officer Debabrata Parida, and former Sarpanch of Paschikot Shiv Prasad Agrawal. Headmasters and headmistresses from various ashram schools were also present on the dais.
For maintaining law and order, police personnel led by ASI Ramchandra Nayak and ASI Sanjulata Melka were deployed.
The program concluded with colorful cultural performances presented by the students of the school.
