The rise of Samrat Choudhary from a युवा leader to Chief Minister marks a significant chapter in Bihar politics

Bihar, April 17:  Samrat Choudhary has emerged as a prominent political figure, rising from being one of the youngest ministers to becoming a key leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party and a leading face in Bihar politics.
He is the son of six-time विधायक Shakuni Choudhary.
Samrat Choudhary is widely recognized as an influential leader and a major face of the OBC Kushwaha community.
Political Journey:
Began his political career with the Rashtriya Janata Dal.
In 1999, he became one of the youngest ministers in the cabinet of Rabri Devi.
Later joined Janata Dal (United) led by Nitish Kumar and served as a minister.
In 2017, he joined the BJP, after which his political influence grew significantly.
In 2023, he was appointed as the State President of BJP Bihar.
In January 2024, he became the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar.
Currently, Samrat Choudhary serves as a member of the Bihar Legislative Council and continues to be a key leader shaping the state’s political landscape.
