Chandahandi, Feb, 20: In Chandahandi, a young man became a lifesaver by donating blood to a pregnant woman suffering from severe anemia.
The donor has been identified as Bhupendra Sinha from Sandhimunda village under Chandahandi block. According to reports, a pregnant woman named Meenahi Burudi from Bodelpani village was admitted to the hospital at Umarkote for treatment. After admission, doctors said she urgently needed B-positive blood. However, her family members were unable to arrange the required blood.
After learning about the urgent need, Bhupendra Sinha traveled to the Umarkote hospital at his own expense and donated blood.
The family members expressed their gratitude and praised his humanitarian act. Bhupendra Sinha also appealed that if more people come forward to donate blood during emergencies, many precious lives can be save
