Tributes Paid to Late MLA Sadan Nayak on First Death Anniversary; Statue Installed

Kotpad, Feb 2: The first death anniversary of former MLA Sadan Nayak was observed today with the installation of his statue in Kotpad. Family members, intellectuals, and residents of the Kotpad constituency offered prayers at the feet of Lord Jagannath for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

On this occasion, floral tributes were offered to the statue of Late Sadan Nayak. Kotpad MLA Rupu Bhatra, MP Rameshwar Nayak, MP’s representative Rameshwar Jena, former MLA Chandrasekhar Majhi, and several other dignitaries paid homage and observed a two-minute silence in his memory.

Among others present were Tapan Majhi, Pankaj Patra, respected members of the legal fraternity, social workers, representatives of Bharat Media Association, journalists, and prominent citizens from Kotpad and Borigumma areas.

Speakers highlighted the life and contributions of Late Sadan Nayak, describing him as a symbol of sacrifice and dedication to the people. They stated that such

Commemorative programs would continue to be organized every year in his memory. It was also announced that a book documenting his life and achievements would be published.

All the guests expressed their condolences and extended support to the bereaved family, including his wife and other family members.
