Nabarangpur, Jan, 22: On the occasion of the birth anniversaries of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and Veer Surendra Sai, a voluntary blood donation awareness programme was organised at the premises of Vidyarthi Degree College.
The programme was jointly organised by Vidyarthi Degree College and Sambad–Ama Odisha. On the call of College Management Committee Chairman Satyanarayan Nayak, an awareness camp was conducted on the importance of voluntary blood donation.
On this occasion, Dr. Bholanath Durga, Dr. A. Venugopal, Indramani Majhi, Dipanjali Behera, Sarada Prasad Sahu, P. Varun Kumar Rao, and Nikhil Behera, among others, were present.
Suresh Naidu, the Nabarangpur district correspondent of “Sambad”, informed the students about the various programmes being undertaken by Sambad–Ama Odisha and explained the necessity and significance of voluntary blood donation.
Chairman Satyanarayan Nayak appealed to the students to come forward for voluntary blood donation and contribute to saving the lives of others.
