Papadahandi, 19th Aug 2025: A welcome and felicitation ceremony was organized for the first-year students of Bhairab College, Dabugaon, Nabarangpur district. The event was attended by the college’s president Shankar Prasad Gantayat as the chief guest. The program was conducted under the supervision of Professor Max Nayak from the Political Science Department.
Shankar Prasad Gantayat highlighted the importance of research-oriented learning and encouraged new students to excel in academics and extracurricular activities. He also praised the students for bringing laurels to the district in previous years.
The program was attended by departmental heads including Mrs. Chandana Panda (Odia), Urmila Brahma (Economics), Pushpanjali Sahu (History), Mahendra Devarapalli (English) and faculty members Dayaram Manohar, Manisha Sarkar, Jyotsna Majhi, along with library staff and other administrative personnel.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the English Department Head Mahendra Devarapalli.
