‘We Will Study in Our Own Language’ Initiative Gains Momentum

Malkangiri:Feb, 25:  Under the direction of District Collector Somesh Kumar Upadhyay, the district administration, in collaboration with the District Social Welfare Department, organized a district-level workshop titled “Ame Padhiba Ama Bhasare” (We Will Study in Our Own Language).

The program was attended by Additional District Magistrate Somnath Pradhan as the Chief Guest. In his address, he stated that Malkangiri is a tribal-majority district and emphasized that teaching children in their mother tongue would increase their interest in education and improve learning outcomes.

The workshop was attended by the Additional District Welfare Officer, District Social Welfare Officer, Sarpanches, MLE teachers, Anganwadi workers, and CDPOs.

Piramal Foundation participated in the program as a supporting partner. Among others present were Rajaram Mallik and Manoj Kumar Sahu.

The event was organized by the officials and staff of the District Social Welfare Department.
