Youth Association Leads Green Initiative with Tree Plantation Program

Jharsuguda, Dec, 08:  A tree plantation program was organized by the Baba Paschimeshwar Youth Association of Telenpali Gram Panchayat under Lakhanpur Block in Jharsuguda district.

While various industrial establishments growing in the district have failed to prevent deforestation, environmental pollution in the region has been increasing. In response, the Paschimeshwar Youth Association of Telenpali has taken up a conscious initiative and begun a small effort to plant trees.

With the support of the association’s volunteers, tree saplings of various species were planted in the old Adhapara area.

Members of the association who participated include:
Shankar Khamari, Devendra Kanta, Akash Sahu, Kiran Urma, Sanjeev Padhaan, Hridananda Padhaan, Swadesh Pere, Rajat Budha, Umesh Khamari, Ranjan Seth, Ashwini Seth, Manoj Sa, Gautam Chandan, and Saroj Hati.
