1st March 2025: The Odisha & Chhattisgarh Geospatial Directorate in Bhubaneswar celebrated National Science Day at Survey Bhawan, highlighting advancements in geospatial technology. The event was inaugurated by Director Ashis Kaushal, who discussed the importance of modern mapping technologies like drones, GPS, and digital levelling in national projects.
Aligned with this year’s theme, “Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for Vikshit Bharat,” the event featured an exhibition showcasing advanced survey instruments and digital techniques. Students and officials from various institutions, including Ravenshaw University and Utkal University, attended the event, gaining valuable exposure to cutting-edge technology and inspiring future careers in science and innovation.
