Jeypore ,Aug 19 [UDN}: A district-level joint public grievance hearing was held at the conference hall of the Sub-Collector’s Office in Jeypore, Koraput district, under the chairmanship of Koraput Collector Manoj Satyawan Mahajan.
A total of 96 complaints were received during the hearing. Of these, 16 were group complaints and 80 were individual grievances.
Residents raised issues related to financial assistance, house pattas, land disputes, drinking water, healthcare, roads and transportation, electricity supply, and several other public concerns.
Collector Mahajan patiently heard the grievances and directed the concerned departmental officials to take prompt and appropriate action in accordance with government rules to resolve the issues at the earliest.
Several senior officials attended the grievance hearing, including Koraput SP Rohit Verma, District Rural Development/Chief Development Officer Benu Sudhadhar Sabar, Jeypore Sub-Collector, SDPO S. Archita Mittal, Sub-Divisional Forest Officer Prashant Patel, Jeypore Integrated Tribal Development Project Officer Trupti Borei, Jeypore Tahasildar Sabyasachi Jena, DRCS Monika Ray, Jeypore Municipality Executive Officer Puja Raut, Block Education Officer Chandan Kumar Nayak, along with officials from various departments.
The administration emphasized timely resolution of citizens’ grievances and ensuring that public complaints are addressed effectively through coordinated action by the concerned departments.
