Beneficiaries of PM Awas Scheme Set to Gain from Solar Power Push as PM Surya Ghar Integration Is Proposed by Kanak Vardhan

Bhubaneswar,  July 14 [UDN}:  The PM Surya Ghar scheme will be integrated with the PM Awas Yojana. This information was shared by Deputy Chief Minister K.V. Singh Deo after a high-level review meeting. However, he clarified that participation in the scheme would remain voluntary for the beneficiaries.

“Our goal is to ensure that every beneficiary can avail the benefits of solar energy,” said K.V. Singh Deo. “We aim to provide people with clean, affordable, and uninterrupted electricity supply round the clock. Along with ensuring affordable power, we will also help reduce electricity bills for households.”
